Dingle Peninsula Kerry Ireland
Corca Dhuibhne (by dorameulman)
This area of the Dingle Peninsula is known as Corca Dhuibhne which means seed or tribe of Duibhne, the family or tribe of people who occupied the peninsula in the Middle Ages. The western end of the peninsula is a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) and there are still a surprising number of people living out here in this wild and beautiful place.

The Kingdom (by dorameulman) Explore
The very beautiful Dingle Peninsula in Co Kerry known as the The Kingdom of Kerry to Gaelic fans. It’s too much of a drive to get out here for some, not so much miles as winding country roads. The roads are much better than I remember as a child and well worth the effort for the beautiful views. You also have to hope mother nature cooperates with the weather, but it’s Ireland what else can I say it rains a lot. ^_^

Moonlight Nights (by dorameulman)
The clear sky seems to glow, with the moon so big and bright.Lighting up our hill sides, with an iridescence light.
The shadows hide amongst the trees, whilst I listen to the gentle breeze.A night time opera in front of me,a magical moment under a grand marquee.

Lovely fluffy clouds reflecting in the lake. Guinness looks like he could take flight instead of go for a swim. Have a peaceful Sunday everyone.  ^_^

The Oak Tree

by Johnny Ray Ryder Jr
A mighty wind blew night and dayIt stole the oak tree’s leaves awayThen snapped its boughs and pulled its barkUntil the oak was tired and stark
But still the oak tree held its groundWhile other trees fell all aroundThe weary wind gave up and spoke. How can you still be standing Oak?
The oak tree said, I know that youCan break each branch of mine in twoCarry every leaf awayShake my limbs, and make me sway
But I have roots stretched in the earthGrowing stronger since my birthYou’ll never touch them, for you seeThey are the deepest part of me
Until today, I wasn’t sureOf just how much I could endureBut now I’ve found, with thanks to youI’m stronger than I ever knew
